About the Author

Beverley Carter is co-founder and Vice President of The Carter Report Ministry. Beverley has had a special prayer and teaching ministry for new believers for many years.

We all have moments and days when we exclaim, "Stop the world, I want to get off!" Life just becomes too difficult and painful. The difficulties and pain are not always ours, but rather what we observe in the crazy world around us - the injustice, the unfairness, and the suffering, especially of the innocent.

While none of us have all the answers to life's problems, I do believe that God's Word, the Bible, is certainly a "lamp" that throws light upon our pathway. Jesus not only points the way to truth and life; He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. It is my desire to share some thoughts and teachings that will make our journey a little easier.

In many years of ministry, there is one thing I've learnt that is very important to most people, including myself, and that is to know that someone cares enough about us to give us words of encouragement as we travel our sometimes lonely and difficult journeys.

It is my hope and prayer that this page will give you some courage and cheer.
