Africa is a land of tremendous contrasts. There are some very rich people and there are many, many poor people. They all have one thing in common: they all need to hear the Gospel. The poor family in Soweto has the same heart as the rich family in the mansion overlooking Johannesburg.

South Africa is a marvelous country. We have visited Johannesburg, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, and Durban. I have preached to great combined audiences in these cities. The people are warm, hospitable, and responsive. Last Sabbath I preached to a congregation that met at the Kwazulu Natal University. What singing! What a response as I proclaimed the Gospel of Christ to the Zulu people. The Spirit came down and glory filled our souls. Everywhere we have gone, it has been GRACE and GLORY.
Now come the challenges. We are planning for a big campaign in Johannesburg. This is a huge, bustling, super modern city. The new city center called SANDTON will take your breath away, BUT MAN DOES NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE. PEOPLE NEED THE LORD, whether they are white, black or brown. Beneath different exteriors beats the same hungry heart.
The hall is a top-notch facility. We are planning to open with three identical sessions (and room for overflow) and then go into double sessions with the meetings going for 21 nights.
The South African team is great. They are full steam ahead for Jesus. They are organized, and full of faith!
HOW CAN I HELP?

Our days and nights here have been packed full. There is so much preparation to do, and I must now leave for another meeting here in Johannesburg.
