How Can Bad News be Good News?

After Fifty Years... A Time for Reflection After Fifty Years... A Time for Reflection

Dear Faithful Partner,

For the true believer, the best is yet to be.  What is more, the bad news always precedes the good news.  When things in the world look bad, it’s because God is preparing a mansion for His people in glory.

The news in the Middle East is bad.  Iran may soon join the nuclear club (USA, Russia, Britain, France, Israel, China, North Korea, Pakistan, and India), and Israel with America’s backing may soon strike to preempt the perceived threat.  That’s bad news for the world, but the bad news tells us that Jesus is coming.  The blackest night always gives way to the most glorious dawn.  Darkness is always followed by the light.

You and I are ambassadors of hope.  We are not like the people featured on the National Geographic Channel who are preparing for Armageddon by stockpiling guns and canned food.  We have a mission to share the good news of Christ with the nations.  Our message is:  Jesus is coming, the dawn is approaching, and whosoever will may come and be saved.  We are not doomsayers.  We proclaim, “good tidings of great joy.”  Please partner with us during these momentous times.  Together we can make a difference.

What can I do to make a difference?

  • Pray for the people who attend the meetings
  • Pray for our safety
  • Pray that the Word will be proclaimed in power
  • Pray that the nets will be sufficient to hold the fish
  • Pray that the money for the campaign will be raised]

You may also determine to be a part of these great outreaches, if not by going, then by giving.  Please consider that a gift at this time will help kindle the candle of hope.  Please talk to the Lord about this matter that bears the weight of divine urgency, and prayerfully consider a gift for the salvation of souls and the preaching of the Gospel of hope.

I want to hear from you.  Thank you in Christ’s name for your partnership in the Good News.

Yours in the Blessed Hope,

John Carter

Proclaiming the Message of Salvation

Papua New Guinea:
We are planning for an attendance of more than 100,000 people per night.  Our aim by His mighty grace is the overthrowing of “principalities and powers,” and the setting up of the Kingdom of God.  Our mission is to see the whole nation stirred and turned to God, by His grace.

Urgently needed $500,000.00 for upcoming campaign.

Dates are: July 27 – August 12, 2012

Russia and Ukraine:
We hope and plan by His all sufficient power to see thousands turned heavenward and souls saved.  We will be holding meetings in Nizhni Novgorod, Dzinsk, and Kiev.  We are planning to preach hope, hope, and more hope.  We plan to uplift Christ in all His glory, and to let the people know that Jesus is coming soon.  The theme of these meetings will be, “the night is passing, and the day is at hand.  Come to the marriage supper of the Lamb.”

Thank you for your tremendous support during these momentous times.
