Demons Invade Planet Earth

By John Carter

Prophecies from the Bible describe our world finally almost totally controlled by demons from the Bottomless Pit.  This chilling and terrifying scenario is found largely in the ancient writings of a man who was considered a security risk to the Roman Empire.  His name was John, one of the most devoted disciples of Jesus.  While his prophetic utterances are at the core of apocalyptic warnings, he was not entirely alone.  Other Biblical authorities also predicted last day demonic manifestations, chiefly Jesus the Christ and Paul the Apostle.
In his “Revelation,” written on the tiny island of Patmos just off the coast of Turkey, he describes visions from God concerning the end of the world.  One such vision is the Oracle of the Seven Trumpets.
These startling warnings commence with the fiery destruction of the Jewish Temple, the fall of the mighty Roman Empire, the corruption of the Christian Church, and the Dark Ages when the lights went out.  The doomed Jewish temple and state are likened to the Earth bombarded by hail, fire and blood (See Rev. 8:7), while the fall of Rome is described as a huge mountain, all ablaze, cast into the sea (See Rev. 8:8).  The corruption and perversion of the Church, whose mission was to bring to the world the life-giving water of life, are likened to the evil star Wormwood whose mission it was to poison and pollute those streams that flowed from the throne of God (See Rev. 8:10,11).  Thirsty sinners, in need of salvation, drank from those accursed waters, and died choking on man-made religion.  The final demise of medieval Christianity without the power of God is pictured by the prophet as a darkening of the sun, moon, and stars.  Desperate men and women are left to grope in darkness (See Rev. 8:12).
History bears out the validity of this interpretation.  After the destruction of the Jewish and Roman states, both judged guilty of rejecting the Christ of God, the Apostate Christian Church ruling from Rome polluted the waters of life and ushered in the Dark Ages.  All this is past, but there is more still to come.
After the demise and overthrow of Apostate Medieval Christianity ruling from the Unholy See, the world became gripped by an anti-God philosophy, the knee jerk reaction to phony religionists.  It was these pseudo Christians, often guilty of pedophilia and every other perversion, who immunized the world against the teachings of Christ.  Communism with its dreadful record of the murders of innocent millions, along with atheism, secularism, liberalism and other anti-God systems aggressively waged war against the Christ of the Bible and His teachings.  A new way of thinking that rejected antithesis with its recognition of right and wrong, became the established norm.  Righteousness and evil became quaint anachronistic concepts, and the masses were taught that truth was unknowable; every person’s ways were right, whatever they might be.  One Sydney university professor told his bleary-eyed class, “You need only get up in the morning.  There is no right or wrong.  Just do something or anything because nothing matters.”  A great smoke from below clouded the sky, and men and women once made in the image of God acted worse than beasts (See Rev. 9:1,2).  Turn on your TV and watch the passing parade of nothingness, made tragic by the unending suicides of stars who have blazed out in darkness.  One young woman cavorted the other night on stage, performing simulated sexual acts, because everything had been done before, and nothing matters except to be seen and recognized.  The old world with its rigid laws of right and wrong, courtesy and decency, is passing away.  Behold the brave new world of nothingness, except greed and a morbid preoccupation with self! The death of God always leads to the death of man, and we are seeing the preparation for the coming of the demons.
The fifth and sixth trumpets describe the emergence of awful creatures from the very depths of hell.  These loathsome “things” are described by John as scorpions and locusts.  The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. And out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth.”  (Rev. 9:1-3).  These lost demonic souls who rebelled against the Creator before the Earth was formed have roamed the Earth for countless years, and now their time has come, as described by the prophet.  They are gathering for the battle, strengthened for the last great strife.  They come armed with overwhelming powers of deception, and the restless ignorant masses who have rejected God’s truth (See 2 Thess. 2) are no match.  They are fodder for the demonic canons.  Once restrained by the Creator, they are released to go forth, deceive and destroy.  “The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces. Their hair was like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. They had tails with stingers, like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months. They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).”  (Rev. 9:7-11)
Even now, the world is being prepared for a demonic take over.  The rejection of God’s Word, His holy law, and the institutions of marriage and the Sabbath, all set the stage for the last great drama.  As Satan works with a fiendish intensity to destroy the great dam of truth that holds back a mighty flood of lawlessness, so the inhabitants of this lonely planet are conditioned to accept the final overwhelming delusion.  Paul the Apostle writes, “The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.”  (2 Thess. 2:9-12)
Men and women will become demon possessed.  This will be the norm, not the exception.  There will be a reign of terror, and no one will be safe, except those with God’s Seal. “They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.”  (Rev. 9:4).
Now is the time to believe in God and in Jesus Christ the Lord.  Now is the time to reject the herd mentality, the desire to conform to the majority, and to go with the mindless crowd.  Now is the time to be God’s non-conformist, God’s oak tree in a forest of weeds.  Now is the time to make time for the daily reading of Holy Scripture.  Now is the time to be God’s man or God’s woman when dumbness is the prevailing worldview.  Now is the time to swim against the current.  The issue is simple, says the man who wrote Revelation:  God or demons.  The battle is real.  Now is the time to decide.  The issues are momentous:  LIFE or DEATH.
